Dear Friends,

Many greetings and hugs to you all from the three border city, Weil am Rhein, Germany.

Since God brought me here at the beginning to this year, I have felt that indeed it has been a new beginning for me personally but also for the ministry. This year has been a year of breakthroughs, miracles, perseverance but also spiritual warfare. I am grateful to have the privilege to get to know God more, to allow Him to purify my heart in the process and to keep walking in faith for the future.

I bless you and I pray that you can always see God's perspective in the midst of your circumstances and challenges and that God's purposes for your life give you the faith and hope to keep going with joy.

New Association of YWAM in the Three Borders

Since the beginning of the year as YWAM Basel Board, we have started the project of establishing a new association of YWAM at the border of Germany with the focus of strengthening the ministry of YWAM in Basel but also to bless the borders of Germany and France.

Since the beginning of February, I have had different meetings with leaders of YWAM Europe and YWAM Germany to share about this project, to ask for their advices and to answer to their questions. We are still in the process and we ask you for your prayers for God's wisdom and understanding for the next steps as ministry.

Spiritual Warfare

In the last months, I have also felt some spiritual attacks affecting my means of transportation. A few months ago, someone stole a part from an e-bike that some friends had lent me, and as a result, I couldn't use it anymore. On August 7th, after a Bible Distribution campaign, I was riding my roller in Basel and someone hit me in the back and broke my roller and it left small injuries on my body. Then, on September 18th, some people burned Theo, my car, along with other cars in the area where I live.

These events were very difficult and discouraging for me, but they made me aware of the reality of the spiritual battle I am facing. And, I trust the Lord for His peace and provision for what I need to continue with His mission for my life in this region and the nations.

Time at home

God gave me the privilege to visit my family and home church in Colombia during summer time. I enjoyed a lot my time together with them and with my local friends. I shared reports and teachings at the church, did some medical check-ups and enjoyed just being a daughter at home. I cherish the legacy of love for God and His kingdom that our parents passed down to us.

Bible Distribution

From August 1st to 6th, I led a Bible Distribution Campaign with the support of Bridgetown Church and their Outreach Week and together we visited around 1000 homes in Klybeck and distributed 42 Bibles, New Testaments and QR Codes with digital Bibles in different languages.

My favorite story this time was our encounter with a man from China who received two Bibles from us, one in German and the other in Chinese. After receiving the Bibles, he said that about a week ago he had had a dream and in his dream he saw someone coming to his home to give him two Bibles. Then, he said that many years ago he had some faith and maybe it was time to try again.

I love to see people receiving the Word of God in their mother tongue. Please, pray with us that many other churches join us in the Bible Distribution campaigns in Basel and soon at the border of Germany.

Prayer & Swiss Day

On August 14th and 15th, as YWAM Switzerland we had a great time of prayer, worship, fellowship and encouragement. Together with Martina, from YWAM Lausanne, we organized the program for the Swiss Day and I can say that it was a precious moment to hear God's voice together, pray for the different bases and cities in Switzerland and for the nations. We also shared struggles, challenges and we received new vision for Switzerland and Europe. We definitely are better together!

PraiseCamp26

On Wednesday September 23rd, as Department Heads and Sponsoring Organizations, we gathered to have a tour of the facilities at Messeplatz, to share updates on PraiseCamp26, to pray for one another, and to gather in work teams to discuss details about the event. We are excited to see thousands of young people coming to PraiseCamp26 to have an encounter with God. And I am also looking forward for the great times of evangelism that we will have in the city during those days.

Renewal of my Residence Permit

After almost 4 years of living in Germany, I am again in the process of renewing my work permit. This time I have been asked by the immigration office to take a course and the "Leben in Deutschland" test in order to receive the new work permit. Please, pray with me for God's provision for this course, as it costs 458 Euros. I believe this a great investment as God has opened the doors for me to serve Him from this place to the nations.
