Dear Friends, Family & Supporters

Many hugs and special greetings from Basel & Lörrach!

It is always a joy for me to share with you some of my journey with God in ministry in these two beautiful countries that God has given me as part of His inheritance for me.

I am so thankful that God has opened the way for me to minister in Switzerland, Germany and Europe and my heart is to be faithful to His calling and to honor Him always.

Lucerne - Switzerland

As one of the convenors in our Swiss-German Region in YWAM, I had the privilege to be part of the last Youth Forum at the GLOW Church in Lucerne, Switzerland, organized by the Youth Evangelical Alliance. The purpose of this gathering was to bring together key leaders in Swiss youth work to promote cooperation in Switzerland.

During this Forum we had the opportunity to worship together, having intercession times for the youth in our nation, hear from different ministries in Switzerland, network with key leaders in our region, share vision, encourage one another and process interesting topics about how to reach this new generation for Jesus.

YWAM Linköping, Sweden

The Discipleship Training School of YWAM Linköping in Sweden invited me to teach about Christian Worldview to their students during the first week of April. It was really a joy to be there and to share with students and staff. Some of the topics were the belief tree, the main worldviews and their consequences, spheres of society and the domains of authority. I personally enjoy to be part of the learning process of this new generation and it is an honor for me to share with them part of my own journey with God and His Word.

Lörrach, Germany

In the last months, I have continued to connect with local churches, christian leaders and local christian ministries in the city of Lörrach. Now, YWAM Basel is part of the regular pastor meetings of the Evangelical Alliance in Lörrach and I am now getting to know more what God is doing through the local church in this city. My heart is to be sensitive to God's voice to know how we, YWAM Basel, could serve them and partner with them through our outreach teams and volunteers.

Personally and through outreach teams and volunteers whom we received from Colombia, England and South Africa, we have been able to support some of the activities of evangelism of Netzwerk Lörrach.

On May 12th, I was invited by the Baptist Church of Lörrach to preach at their special Mother's Day Sunday service. Wow! What an honor! I enjoyed to see how God spoke to people's lives through the preaching.

Basel, Switzerland

From April 25th to May 13th, I coordinated the activities and programs of the counseling outreach team from YWAM Cartagena, Colombia. We did evangelism on the streets together with Netzwerk Basel and spontaneous evangelism at Claraplatz. We led a special activity at the Cafe Ministry at ELIM where they cooked a meal and shared a teaching to people with special needs. They also led a counseling seminar of three days at YWAM Basel in Riehen. Some of our local friends from Basel and the border of Germany joined and were very blessed and touched by their teachings.

On May 27th, YWAM Basel officially moved to Chrischona Campus in Bettingen. We are now renting two offices at their Guest house and one complete floor with 11 rooms at the Women's House. You are more than welcome to visit us!

From August 7th to 9th, we did a Bible Distribution Campaign in Kleinhüningen in partnership with Bridgetown Church and young Swiss people from different churches in Switzerland. Together we visited 552 homes and shared Bibles and New Testaments in 12 different languages. With this last campaign and the previous ones we have had in the past months, we were able to visit the whole Kleinhüningen sector with around 1372 households.

We thank God for the YWAM outreach teams and the local support from churches in Switzerland for this accomplishment and we are looking forward for the next Bible Distribution Campaign in Basel. Please let us know if you would like to partner with us to bring a Bible in the Mother Tongue for every family in our city.

Floridablanca, Colombia

From June 6th to July 12th, God gave me the privilege to spend some weeks of vacation with my family in Colombia. This travel had the special purpose of celebrating the Golden Wedding Anniversary of my parents, 50 years of faithful marriage serving God together. I am so grateful with the legacy that our parents have given us. Because of their faith, lovely example and prayer support my siblings and I are serving God in the nations.

It was also a joy for me to be able to celebrate my 38th Birthday with my parents, family and friends from my sending church Villabel. During those weeks, I was also invited to preach a couple of times to the whole church and to small groups of the congregation. It is always special for me to be with them. Through the years, they have seen me grown and mature as a person and in my calling.

Prayer Requests:

Outreach Team: In the next days, I will be planning the program for our next outreach team from YWAM Cartagena, Colombia. Please, pray for God's guidance, wisdom and open doors as I am preparing the different details of their logistic in Basel & Lörrach.
Theory driving test: In the next months I will need to be ready to present my theory driving test in Lörrach. I have been studying during my free time for this test and I hope to be ready very soon. Please, pray with me that I could pass this test without any inconvenience.
Staff support for YWAM Basel: I am grateful to God to be able to keep leading the YWAM Basel ministry while living in Lörrach, Germany. I am also very grateful with the special support of Markus & Diana, and the different short-term staff and volunteers from Colombia and other nationalities who have been involved in missions through YWAM Basel. Please, pray with us for long-term staff and volunteers with a calling for this region to be able to invest in God's Kingdom in Switzerland & Germany.
